From your morning cuppa to cleaning the dishes after dinner - on average, each person uses around 140 litres of water per day – that's the same as almost 2 full bathtubs. And with the additional demands of more homes being built, our flat and dry landscape and the effects of climate change, it's even more important to use less water - which is why we need your help too.
Together we can love every drop
Save water and money with our small swaps
Making just a few small swaps to save at home and in the garden can not only help you save on your water bill, but also your energy bills too.
Giving you control
Smart meters are a great way to keep you in control of your water usage (so you can challenge your family to shorter showers!), spotting leaks earlier and making sure you only pay for what you use. If you have a smart meter, simply download the MyAccount app to see your usage. Or explore more about smart meters here.
Finding leaks before they become a problem
Leaks can be small trickles, dribbles, or a constant flow. Often the leaks are simple to fix, like a leaky loo, and identifying them quickly helps you save water and money at home. Find help for checking for leaks here.
