Water Industry National Environment Programme (WINEP) - Anglian Water are carrying out River restoration to the Gadder within the National Trust Oxborough Hall, this is part of our WINEP (Water Industry National Environment Programme) of works, between 2020 and 2025 we are investing approximately £7million in restoring key sections of our region’s most important rivers and streams. In total we are delivering work on 16 rivers across the region, which includes a section of River Gadder. |

Other partnerships: we also work with many other organisations. Our aim for all partnerships is to work together to bring about lasting change and positive outcomes to the communities we serve. |

Thinking innovatively at Southwold WRC- A first for the UK water industry, we have invested £600,000 in trialling a new innovative technology as a way of providing treated water with an additional layer of cleaning on site, before it is returned to the sea |

Keeping Lowestoft in tip top shape- Lowestoft received a £3.8 million Water Industry National Environment Programme investment in a series of infrastructure upgrades and maintenance projects which began in 2020 and completed in March 2024. |

Rutland wins the triple- We’re thrilled to announce that Rutland Water is the first site in the UK to be awarded the prestigious Blue Flag and Seaside Award for Summer 2024, alongside its existing Green Flag. |

Monitoring and protecting the Deben- We’re collaborating with environmental organisations, communities and citizen scientists to improve the health of the River Deben. |
