At Anglian Water, we’re proud to support the Eco-Schools programme. Eco Schools simple seven-step process is used successfully around the world, empowering children to drive change and improve environmental awareness.
As an Eco School water partner we can support you with a range of resources to achieve your Green Flag status. The following can help you create your Eco board:
For school grounds - Growing for the future pack
Explore our Growing for the Future pack where your pupils can create their own sustainable water gardens to grow their own fruit and veg. We’ll advise on what to plant and how to create a sustainable garden that needs little water.
Water efficiency booklets
‘Save water, it matters’ - educate children about the importance of water with fun activities on how they can save water at home and in the garden.
School water audit
This free water audit pack helps you and your students (primary and secondary), reduce water use at school. It’s particularly useful if you’re working on the Eco Schools water topic and will help you achieve your Green Flag. The audit also supports your school action plan, collecting data on your school’s water use and involving your community.
Understanding climate change and its local impact on the east of England.
Every drop counts use these resources to support teaching and learning about the vital role water plays in our lives and how if we use it wisely, it can help sustain a healthy environment.
